The hungry eyes of the crowd followed her every move.
Each swing, twirl, gyration and shimmy of her hips as she danced.
The only visible light was the fire on the hula hoop she had.
A dangerous partner to her sensual dance.
She swayed across the dance floor
drunk in the ecstasy of the moment.
Men, women and children alike entranced by her hypnotic moves.
Her colorful but faded, torn and mismatched outfit
the only visible sign that behind her bright eyes
a dormant madness was locked up tight.
