I wrote this thinking about all of the things I say I love, but know they do me no good. They are lifeless and emotionless, and I may have thought they made me feel better but really they could care less.

Blue eyes of pain,

green of fear-

show what they gain

when you come near.

You are their light,

their love and peace

and when you end the night

all of their burdens cease.

I love you, my light don't ever forget

that every moment with you

I could never regret.

Know this to be true

and know it well:

I may love you

but I'll see you in hell.

good bye you bothersome, hollow light-

I bid you farewell and I bid you goodnight.
