Her hands lay gentle just below her chest

That does not rise or fall

Her skin so pale and body still

The crowd calls out for her to wake

No movement no sound

Forever still

Her smile no longer and laugh no more

Her life is in us

Her wisdom we hold

Grandma forever your stories will be told

No cries no more

Your pain is gone

Lay down please grandma

Rest your head
