this is my first poem about me and my 2 year old daughter.

I am her mother
She knows it
But she don’t know
Who a mother is?
I love her baby eyes
I can’t hear her cries
No body matters to me
And she is my life
I am single
A single mother
Treating her as good as I can
But I want to do it better

This poem capture the sweet essence of motherhood. Thank you, as a parent, for this wonderful share. It also gives a dad the view from a mom. Thank you so much for your share.

Take care of your daughter and yourself, for your daughter. Nothing else matters except for your devotion to each other. A great starter poem.

beautiful poem! I'm a mother too and I can see and feel the love you have for your daughter in these words, don't ever think you're not good enough, if you love your child and you do your best, than you are a good mother! and your little girl is lucky to have you! i hope all your dreams will come true one day! my friend lost her child a few weeks ago and i've written a poem about it, if you want to you can check it out? i would love to know what you think of it, i also wrote an adult romance erotic novel...if you're interested and are looking for something to read, have a peek! i would really appreciate that! cheers!

You will find that those feeling dont change as they get older. My daughter is 20 years older, but I feel much the same about her.
