This is a poem about my cousin that died in 2010. She was my best friend and the closest thing i had to a sister. She had a little girl who i wrote this about right before she died.

Joy is like a newborn baby

It grows and has ten toes

She laughs and cries

She opens her eyes

She rolls and crawls

She bounces off walls

She plays and plays

all through the day

And when the day comes to end

She knows her mothers lover

will NEVER end
