GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US.
There is a story filled with thrill, which is said to have actually happened in the famous Guruvayurappan Temple of Lord Krishna.
The story goes like this:
A devotee put a ten rupee note in the hundi in the temple. The ten rupee note was big in size in those days and the note did not go into the hundi fully and one of the servants, who wanted to steal this money carefully took out the note but another servant had noticed it. With great fear, he begged the other servant to keep it secret as otherwise he would lose his job. They both came to a compromise. They went outside the temple, had good food in a hotel, had pan etc., but again they both thought of not taking that money to their homes. They were in a dilemma as to how to dispose of the remaining money. They came to an understanding. They purchased ghee for the remaining amount and they poured the entire ghee in the large kundi of akhanda deepam of the temple. They thought that no one noticed this. But it was noticed by some other servant, who got suspicion as they poured so much ghee in the kundi of akhanda deepam at once. This servant took this fact to the notice of the temple's Peshakar who made a thorough interrogation of the two servants and both ultimately accepted their misdeed and begged his pardon.
The Peshakar decided to punish the two servants. He ordered them to run 100 times around the temple then itself. But they begged that they would lose their respect if people see them running around the temple as a punishment. Then the Peshakar ordered them to come early in the morning before the temple is opened to public for worship. Next day as usual the Peshakar came to the temple before the temple is opened to public for worship. In the twilight of the early morning hours, he noticed more than two persons running around the temple. The third person was small in size, when he saw particularly in that twilight a boy like figure was running along with the two servants. After both the servants finished the running 100 times around the temple they came to Peshakar's place greatly panting and stood in front of him. The Peshakar noticed both of them standing in front of him but he was still looking at the entrance door as if he was waiting for someone.
When both the servants bowed to him indicating that they completed the running, the Peshakar asked "Where is the third person who was looking like a boy and following you running? Who is he?" Both the servants said that no was following them running. The Peshakar closed his eyes and thought for A while and opened his eyes. His eyes were full of tears. His face became expressionless. He was bewildered. He was trembling. His mental and physical state could be compared to that of Arjuna who saw Viswarupa of Lord Krishna. Immediately he turned himself there itself towards the sanctum sanctorum of the Lord Krishna and made saastanganamaskaar.
THE THREE INTERESTING QUESTIONS NOW ARE:
DID YOU GUESS WHO THAT BOY WAS?
IT WAS THE LITTLE KRISHNA, THE LORD OF THIS UNIVERSE!
DID YOU GUESS WHY THE LORD OF THIS UNIVERSE PUNISHED HIMSELF, WHEN THE TWO SERVANTS WERE PUNISHED?
THE ANSWER IS : HE ALSO ENJOYED THE STOLEN MONEY IN THE FORM OF GHEE IN THE AKHANDA DEEPAM!
DID YOU GUESS WHY LORD LITTLE KRISHNA APPEARED ONLY TO PESHAKAR?
BECAUSE THE PESHAKAR WAS IN PURSUIT OF PROTECTING THE DHARMA BY PUNISHING THE GUILTY. HENCE HE WAS LIKED BY THE LITTLE LORD AND GAVE HIM HIS DARSHAN.
