Black trees, black sky
Black me
Not by race, but by heart
Black is the color of death
That tore me apart
Black clothes, black eyes
Even in blackness I will not rise
I obscure myself in hopes to find
Sanctum in the presence of my mind
Black light, black love
The only thing white is a dove
Black life, black me
And I cry to the darkness
Set me free
