A hundred miles apart
And years away
I miss you
Why'd you go
And break my heart?

We're so different
But that never created divisions
Have you forgotten our friendship?
How uniqueness was a precious sacrament?

Six feet under
My heart is caged
Death is a thief
Suicide brings so much grief

Did you never remember
How much I loved you?
I wish you would've let Jesus make
Your heart strengthened and new

God still remains
When nothing else is the same
He's steadfast
Yesterday, today, and forever
