Day by Death?

Poem by: skilletgirl2

Summary

My grandma has been telling me to take everything day by day. Sometimes, i feel like this is a death each day. A dark poem. Hope it doesn't turn off too many people

Each new day

I die a little more

For anything I know

I might as well be

In a dark, haunting,

Cold morgue

I groan within

My nerves are shot

My brain is fried

All within me cries

To just go numb

Why must I drown

In my sorrow?

Lose my sanity

To anger?

The razor calls

My name

I hunger to give in

Because everyday . . .

Is a new death
