Here I am
Speaking my mind
You can disagree with me
Either way is fine
but I've come to the conclusion
Love doesn't exist
Don't object
Just listen to my jist
Love is only a reminiscence
Of affection and connection
Yeah, love exists
But not on Earth
Only pain and strife and mirth
Love is only perfected
On the other side of heaven
Daddy, why can't you tell
These people to stop hating?
Everyone is hurting
And my heart is still breaking
Jesus save your people
From their mouths of destruction
Don't let us become Sodom and Gomorrah
Remind us of the words
Of your prophet Jeremiah
And save our land
So our feet will stand not
On shifting sand
So let us drink
from His pierced hand
To  restore all of men
