The thunder crashes
And lightning flashes
The rain pounds
And the wind howls
I love summer rain!
Keeps my heart a little more sane
Family barbecues can be fun
And I do love the sun
But when a thunderstorm comes
I like to drink in the sound
Hear the rain pound
See the loose leaves mound
In the drains, off the trees
Making me so very happy!
This is what summer rain does to me!
