Sometimes we don't understand why God does what he does. . . but he does everything in love. He works in mysterious ways!

Take the ocean
Measure its depth
Go down to the bottom
And touch the sand swept
earth, soft and cold
From no light
That's where most people might
Be when depression makes them sink
But under the rockbed,
What will you find?
That's right . . .
Earth's core,
Mother's hothead
Liquid hot with iron and ore
Emanating heat
Up hundreds of miles
And making the marine life
Wild and wet with a smile
You see, God's love reaches high
And it reaches low
It reaches from heaven
And down below
He's the rock at the end
Where your heart will rend
Jesus is there
Grief is nothing to fear
See, in Heaven
It will always be warm
You can sit at the feet of the Father
And play with your brothers and sisters
You'll be safe, lightyears away from harm
Jesus loves children
Tends them in his rosegarden
Sweet little buds
Created and picked away
From families with love
We may never understand
The depth of his love
Its like an ocean
To much to explore of
Expansive and eternal
Free and full
All we know
Just as the ocean will never
 run out of water
Father will never tire
Of sheltering us with his armour
