Another poem that I wrote a while ago.

Time is relentless,

Our lives tick away;

We are powerless,

As hours turn into days.

Time is unforgiving,

Our past cannot be changed;

Our mistakes are permanent,

Making us deranged.

Time is constant,

Consistently moving us on;

When we are finally content,

The moment is gone.

Time is timeless,

We are gone in the blink of an eye;

But others keep living,

Passing us by.

This is so true. Time is one thing that is yet to be understood. As much as scientists say they know about time, they only know it in theory. You know nothing about time until you experience its deepest attacks and woes. Your poem truly displayed that. Great work, keep writing!

Great take on "time"! Like evferre said, scientists say they know about time, but they just know the theory. How time really works is beyond us. Another great poem!
