The Society

Does man ever learn from his mistakes? If so would he do anything to stop from making them again? This story is a look at a society that tried to stop themselves from making our mistakes but in the .... well just read the story.

The life ending freeze brought an end to what future humans would call the the Mislead Era. Global warming hadwon in the end. It had thrown out the earths natural weather patterns(just like the book The Day after Tomorrow predicted). So the world had froze over and almost all of the humans on earth died(mostly because werely on technologyso much) only a few hundred survived the horrible freeze that wiped out the earth in a matter of weeks. They survived due to their intelligence and physical fitness but that isanother story.For 5 months they lived in the basement of a military base surviving on the supplies stocked up for the huge army. So when the time came that the earth was again somewhat habitable for human life the came out all about thiry pounds lighter and almost to insanity from being locked in the basement for 5 months. They decided amongest themselves a few months earlier towrite down rules for the new earth their would be a represnative from all the remaing countries to form a global country and unity called Sunicount. At the first meeting of the new government they decided they would everything in their power to keep from making the same mistakes as us (the meeting was later refered to as the council of Arcadia).
