A darkness lurks in every heart
Within the mind, body and soul
It comes creeping in and tears you apart
In a way that no one else can know
It comes out at the darkest hour
When we are all alone with no one to blame
Menacing truths from which most would cower
This darkness has a name
A creature we all know well
The dakness known as shame

I liked how the text slowly got bigger. I don't know what that added to the poem but i liked it. Tiny typo in the last time with 'dakness', but that's okay. It sounds cooler like that, like a Jersey lady's saying it... dahhhhkness... I'm sorry I'll stop. Good poem.

XD it's okay, I wasn't looking at my screen when I typed it, so I'm surprised there was only one typo.
