Just a poem. Not sure how well it flows together, but here it is anyway.

My shame comes from knowing

That I could have fixed it all

If I saw the signs that were showing

None of this would have to fall

Farther down till it hits the bottom

It continues on, so helpless

And watching it all leaves me breathless

So now I sit here

Writing what I have to offer

Knowing you won't hearWhy would you even bother?

The pain is too great to bear

Suffering behind this smile I wear

Searching for whatever may help

To flush out all of the despair

I see your hand as you reach

But is it me you reach for?

Or a memory of how it used to be?

Before the complications and before the pain?

Or do you truly want to start over again?
