Dragons were global protectors, countries united beneath their wings. The aftermath of WW2 driving the beasts to extinction...or so the world were lead to believe.

Dragons were once used as weapons of war, bred solely for their feats of extraordinary strength, aerobatic prowess, the elements they breathed and the protection their scales provided. A lance and shield, the beasts fought hard and alongside humanity until the aftermath of WW2 saw to the astounding species’ near extinction.

However in a quaint town in Wales, Mallory Aspen stumbled upon a long forgotten egg. Literally. When it hatches and the responsibility of raising such a creature of history rests on her shoulders, she looks to her parents and best-friend, David Montgomery, for help.

Unfortunately keeping such a creature hidden is near impossible, its presence exploding on the pages of East Anglia’s media. Mallory’s parents are relieved, hoping the government will take over her responsibility. The P.D.P are not.

Whisked away before the British secret service can gain access to Mallory and her dragon, the P.D.P show her that she and Solarian are not alone and what it is truly to be a rider…on the Dragonology University island no less.
