On September eleventh, 2001 four planes were hijacked by terrorists. The planes were all headed for major American landmarks. The terrorists inside the planes were on a suicide attack mission. They successfully destroyed the world trade center in New York city. There were so many people working at the two towers at that time, along with children-BABIES, nearby. Police and the fire department tried to get as many people out of the area as they could, but they couldn't get them all. Almost three-thousand people died that day, including young children, parents, and nearby citizens no even inside the buildings, along with at least 400 police officers and fire workers, attempting to get more people out. When I went to New York city just recently, I was able to go to the 9/11 memorial site. Two places, were the towers previously stood tall, were now just the ground. Along were the buildings were, there were all the names of each and every person who had died. The deceased were from ages 1 to 85 years of age. As I walked around looking at the names I saw many flowers on the names also, from their loved ones, who probably visited each day to see were their families were murdered.
