An answer to a question that I never said aloud, but instead wrote down because that's the only way it came out right

You want the truth

Well here it is

I can not put up with you any longer

I can not take the emotional beatings you give me anymore

I have had enough

 

California seems like a dream

Perfect and serene 

No you there, no one I know, no not one single person

 

Washington seems like where I need to be

The atmosphere, culture, and way of life

Suits me well

No random run-ins with you there

Because you will not be there

 

Instead you will be here with him

Living your life as you deem fit

You will get what you get

Maybe even what you deserve

 

Your hearts never been broken

You do not understand that kind of pain

My pain

But maybe through him you will learn

 

I hate to seem vindictive 

I hate to seem bitter

But I am what I am

That is the truth, plain and simple

I gave you what you asked of me

 

Now give me what I ask of you

No more lies, no more pain, no more

Confusion, no more you

Seems a lot more to this poem in between the lines....
Well written with good flow and you have it full of emotion
