Dogs bark, there is something in the dark.
You won't be wrong if you suggest:
"It's here for me and all the rest.".
You could try to run, could try to hide,
but there is no saving from whats inside.
Ask your friends, ask your God
if they see light in you, because it does not.
You start to feel it's agonising touch...
The plague is spreading and you realise you've had too much.
There is no cure, nor a spell
that can lift your soul from this deep black well.
Your mind decays, your body rots...
Then you pull a gun and fire a couple of shots.
One in the hand so you feel sane,
one in the brain for putting the blame.
You no longer feel pain, you no longer feel guilt.
And what people will say is "We weren't even thrilled."
You watch from afar as they suffer the same.
Pointing the fingers, not accepting the shame.
