I wrote this when I was thinking of someone.. it's not real love, at least I don't think it is.

Love is like a butterfly,

Mysteriously fluttering close by,

And as we think we finally have it,

There it goes as quick as a rabbit.

Though many try to catch love,

And though many think they've caught it,

Love flutters in, and flutters out,

Leaving only dust behind and above.

As if we are all children again,

Trying to catch a butterfly- but we can't.

We cry, and pout, and think the world will end.

Until we see another butterfly and are off again.

The magic that we once felt for butterflies,

Now makes us feel butterflies within us,

With astounding love catching us by surprise,

And flitting away into the dust.
