This is a poem that I wrote about how we, as people, cannot get through anything without the help of our God.

Somewhere beneath my soul
lies a field of dreams.
Dreams that yearn
with every fighting breath
to become real.

To bloom into reality
with such zeal, such vigor.
As if they could capture life
grip it by the throat
if for only just a moment.

So many dreams lay there
given up on, abandoned.
Left alone to wither away
into nothing but dust;

As many die, so many more grow
row upon row, field upon field.
Encompassing the death
and forming new life;
new dreams.

Despair is only temporary
some dreams will grow.
When you've chosen
the right one,
and fed it well.

It can prosper, flourish
into an everlasting reality
for it's gardener,
and also for those
who rely on Him.

If we choose to lay
in the field of despair
where dreams cannot prosper,
you will always lay there.

But when we choose
to hire God as our gardener
the field will never be empty.
It will always flourish,
if you trust Him.

The only dreams worth dreaming,
are dreams with God, for God.
He will provide the rest.
He will grow our dreams
into reality.
