This is a song/poem I wrote a couple years ago, it's really long, and I did change the lyrics into a shorter version, which this is. It's kinda sad... so don't read it if you get sad easy.

THIS LITTLE GIRL

She was only 9 years old,

She thought she knew it all,

She had everything,

You could ever even want,

A family who cared for her,

Or so it kinda seemed,

She didn’t know what was happening,

That day.

This little girl was so damn smart

This little had a real big heart

This little girl got bigger

And she knew things had to change

She came to school,

That fateful day,

And sat next to her best friend,

Her friend decided that it was time,

To make a new change,

She told them all a few huge things,

That they were never supposed to know,

About,

This little girl was so damn hurt

This little girl cried in the dirt

This little girl got bigger

And she knew things had to change

She was all alone from then on,

No one cared for her,

She sat alone with nothing to do,

Except for her school work,

She was so used to being alone,

That she became even smarter,

She got good grades and was real nice,

That made them really hate her,

She was all alone and miserable,

She knew she didn’t like it,

They all laughed and called her names,

And there was never a friend...for,

This little girl was always crying

This little girl was slowly dying

This little girl got bigger

And she knew things had to change

She finally made a couple of friends,

Who came to notice her,

They thought oh well why not her,

We got nobody else,

She began to be happier,

A smile was always on her face,

She doing right all the time,

Nice to every face,

Then she came to realize,

That there was a hole,

Inside a little place in her,

That place was the heart of,

This little girl was lonely

This little girl was phony

This girl got bigger

And she knew things had to change

She came to make a mask of her,

Not showing how she felt,

No one really noticed that,

so she would keep it all inside; because,

This little girl was all alone

this little girl never felt at home

this little girl got bigger

and she knew things had to change

High school came fast as hell,

Before she even knew,

She was over her head, and in too deep,

And the feelings came to show,

People then pretended to care,

Asking if she was okay,

She smiled and lied,

Yeah I’m fine ,

To get them to go away from,

This little girl hid herself

This little girl wasn’t herself

This little girl got bigger

And she knew things had to change

And she knew things were gonna change

She came to be,

So miserable,

She just couldn’t take it,

She decided that day,

To take her life,

to get away from it all,

They all came to her funeral,

Cried themselves a river,

Said they were her closest friends,

But they lied to themselves,

Inside all of those kids,

They finally realized,

What they had done to her,

And those things never change,

She was so young and never knew,

The things that might have happened,

If she were to talk it out,

And try to make a change,

And try to make a change for,

This little girl sat in the ground

This little girl slept really sound

This little girl went to heaven

To find her rightful place

This little girl.
