A river flows one way

Flowing to its destination

As it reaches, it plummets down

Deep into an abyss

Full of connections and confusion

As fast as it arrives

It leaves

Dashing into the confusion

It has caused

And all this time

The drum goes on

But it is faster than ever, too fast

The river cannot cope

Its core has broken down

There is no escape

Until

A dark cavern appears

With but the tiniest speck of light

The river approaches

The clockwork routine is ruined

All that is left is to perish

Alone

The drum has failed

The river stops

Forever
