A light winter follows the subdued autumn
Awaiting in the shadows is my destiny
I wonder closer not knowing of the tight grasp
That life itself holds upon me

Forgive the sorrow that clutches my heart
I have not yet known a bleaker day than this

A captivated audience hold their breath
Dancing on my new home
Jeering at such a mockery of a being
I wait and listen as the bell tolls twelve

Forgive the sorrow that clutches my heart
I have not yet known a bleaker day than this

Tighter i scream through bloodshed teeth
Creased fingers gnawing at my insides
Open flesh pierced with decpetion
I cross my heart and count to ten

Forgive the sorrow that clutches my heart
I have not yet known a bleaker day than this

For sorrow did plague this day so well
When a light winter did follow a subdued autumn
