afraid
confused
scared
lies spill out
they fall around me like the rain
they cover everything in my life
the lies, the smiles
they protect me
protect my heart
it's broken
nobody knows
nobody can tell
you try to fix it
how can you?
your attempts are futile
im afraid
im confused
im scared
could you hold me?
take the pain away?
help me to let it all out?
you can't
you can't reach me
you can't hear me
you can't even see me
it seems as if it will never heal
so what happens now?
let the pieces lie?
leave my heart broken?
slowly taking bricks
made up of smiles and lies
i build the wall which holds my heart together
this one's here to stay
