"Late at Night"

i wrote this a long time ago, i was probably 14 years old. i always loved the calm and peacefulness of the night

Late at Night

Walking in the depth of night.

Everywhere I look, I see no light.

The stars are all I have to light my way,

soon I will forget the stress of the day.

You can't hear a thing, there is no sound.

And if there is, it's a lonely hound.

I come to the very end of the road,

it doesn't matter which way I go.

When I walk outside late at night,

Sometimes there is no better sight.

I dare not go inside to sleep,

Because this wonderful night, I want to keep.

oh god, i stay up til like 4-5 every night, im such a night person..very well put, i think the concept i liked was being outside in the night helps you forget about your stress..i find this very true..thanks..
