Watch me as I leave.

Watch me as I cry.

Watch me as I enter the afterlife.

But do not try and salvage what is left of me.

For I am a corpse.

My body lies in a coffin.

But my soul lies in a place so exhilarating, so peaceful, so breathtakingly beautiful that words alone cannot express the place that I lay.

Remember me as I was, for I am the cool autumn breeze that calms a thousand souls.

I am the diamond glint that sparkles like a thousand stars.

Do not try to salvage what is left of me.

For I am not there.

I am the rushing sounds of birds pecking and singing.

I am the ocean splashing all over to create a modest dynasty.

I am the great dawn of time that brings a tear to each eye.

I am the spectacular sunset that rises from its sky.

I am a million children’s laughter that echoes and surrounds the playgrounds.

Remember me as them.

Remember how I was.

But do not try to save me anymore.

I am not there.

For I am a corpse.
