This poem is about a sort of not so much relationship I had with my best friend. I'll always remember you.

OurFinal Goodbye

By Celeste Serrato

The way you held my hand as we roamed the halls.

The moist air filling our lungs.

The sweet laughter I truly miss.

The secret games we always played.

The way we wasted our time.

How you always laughed at what I said.

How you worried about anything wrong that happened to me.

The way the warmth of your smile made my day.

How we talked about everything, and anything.

The way we used our words.

Our never forgotten ways.

Our love for laughter.

Our confusing minds.

How we asked the questions we don't want answered.

The way we got each other so easily.

How we went our secret ways.

When we left class to walk and talk.

How we remembered every detail.

When the sun was gone but our smiles were out.

Thewaywe said hello.

Our final words were the worst.

Our last goodbye was unbearable.

Our last walk , Our last talk.

Our final round of laughter.

The way we said ourfinal goodbye.

Dedicated to my one and only best friend. <3
