Blind Eyes
You blind the eyes that see you…
You’re the only way I can show the world that it’s not always raining inside.
A heart that fold and aches,
A mind that bends and breaks,
A soul that has the belief to bleed…
The storm is coming for me.
Take me down and I’ll scream the truth—
You blind all the eyes that see you.
This is my confession,
My one true profession…
Telling lies just to twist your heart
So you’ll run from the storm.
It’s all I ask—
That you betray your last breath
And hold me close.
The shadows hold your face,
And now you’re mine—
Blinding all the eyes that see you.
