Lost in the Static of Time
Finding nothing with arms reaching out…
Holding solace, your heart turns away;
Every bit as haunting as this web of decay,
We needed more than this to blow us out of the clouds.
If only this was yesterday…
Here we are fighting,
Trying to hold on
To every past memory where nothing was wrong.
We cherished every silver moment when in
Found our hearts…
Is this the deterrence time has wrought?
I am without a mind,
Freezing the thoughts.
Is this all that’s left?
Have I said too much?
I love you,
But life has pulled you away from me…
I wish things didn’t have to be this way;
I’m scared to say goodbye,
But I don’t know what else to do.
I am lost.

Thank you...didn't really mean for it to flow because the material was so jagged in emotion and the feelings were so raw. The flow just slipped out.
