9/1/06--Ok, it's true, I have anger issues, BUT I would never ever hurt anyone. haha. This poem is more about poisoning the heart to return "the favor". I just had to let it out before I broke something. I hate being ignored or being told that I know nothing from someone who does not even know the situation...so, this wonderful swell of emotions ensued.

I shout into the rain,
Rearranging the face with
Ripples of anger
That spread across the countenance.
Trying my patience
Which is found lacking,
An oozing sore
Is buried deep within the silent
Screams of doubt and apathy
Like a bullet buried in your eye.
Lacerated,
The uttermost crimson anger stains the retinas
As the rage,
Infernally birthed,
Finds a place to contaminate in my mind—
It’s new home.
This is the aggravation held deep inside
That is hidden by the ashes of a
Sacrificed fate
That had been licked by the flames
Of contempt and disregard.
Let me pour these emotions
Into your frothing glass of beer,
Reflecting what is seething beneath the composure.
Onto the shore of forgotten whispers,
I will find what is left upon the distant shores
Of an eternity with you.
