The Fairie & The Daemon

A fairie was in the woods one day
When a daemon came and asked to play
The fairie was rather scared and shy
She thought the daemon looked rather sly

His horns were blue
His eyes were red
His tongue was purple
And he had no ears upon his head

She looked down at his feet
They were bright green
The funniest looking feet
That she had ever seen

Upon each foot he had six toes
They were the colour of his nose
Each toe was brown with a hint of blue
And had a peachy coloured hue

He spoke to the fairie in a sing song tone
‘I do not want to play alone’
The fairie did want a friend
You’ll be glad this poem soon will end!

The best of friends they did become
This funny looking pair
The pretty dainty fairie
And the multicoloured daemon with no hair!
