"One day, I'll show you the gray." Was what he said to me.
"All you see is black and white, you can't decide. I'll show you the gray someday."
I couldn't see the gray, in the black and white world.
"You're a flower." He said to me, "Deep in the jungle. Undiscovered for now."
"Ah, But I've noticed."
But no, I still couldn't see the gray.
"I want you to tell me, all he says." Was what she said to me.
"Tell me everything. Even if it hurts him."
But no, no gray.
I couldn't see the gray.
"You're my best friend. I'm proud of you for telling."
But what had i done?
I had hurt him.
Still, no gray.
And for her? She remains in my heart.
Glowing bright red with her beautiful soul.
And for he?
He's there too. Glowing dark red, with signs i'd done wrong.
Forgivness, there is none.
But I thrive on his being.
I thrive on hers.
He had promised he'd show me the gray, she had promised she'd look out for me.
My two best friends.
I'm torn between them.
And still today,
There is no gray,
For my perfectly imperfect Life.
