This is a poem about a marriage that... well, doesn't end up how marriages should. Please tell me what you think.

Angrily you yell and scream,
But die inside as she turns to leave,
You love her, yet you don't know how,
To understand her ups and downs.

Tired and beat, you go to bed,
Your wife leaving getting to your head,
You blame yourself, you rant and rave,
Wonderin' how, your love you'll save.

You get up, don't even glance at the clock,
Run to the store, before they lock,
A dozen roses, you buy for a high price,
Then take em' to your house for your dear wife.

She doesn't come home, and you wonder why,
Then the next day you see her, with another guy,
Smiling and laughing, holding his arm,
Kissing him often, putting on her charm.

Your heart sinks inside you, when you see her hand,
Your ring is gone, her finger now bland,
You see how she's happy, and wish you were too,
Knowing she doesn't care even a little for you.

You're so empty and hurt, you don't understand,
How she could pick you for another man,
When you get home, there's a note tapped to your door,
"I'm sorry baby, I just needed more."

With a deep sigh you let yourself inside,
Where, for the rest of life, you hide,
Burrowing in your sorrow, and crying out your tears,
Wasting away, so many years.

Time went by slowly, and she moved on with her life,
Even though she's gone, you still think of her as your wife,
The day before you died, a note was handed to you,
"Though it didn't work for us, I always loved you too."

wow... that means so much to me... you have no idea... I just felt... so sorry for those marriages that are broken and ripped apart... it makes me so scared for the day I decide whether or not to say yes.. :/ Im glad it's your favorite, it was interesting to write actually... it was kinda depressing.. :P
