I wanted this piece to come across as an uplifting or inspritional piece.

You have the power to treasure the remains of the day.

You notice the sun which lives in your bones.
Bones that are no longer brittle.
At first glance, it seems to be a material thing which brings separation from my sore lips and yellowed teeth and your flawed teenage being.

What if it is nothing but wonder?
Wondering what I would have missed if I hadn't opened the bedroom window and let morning sun become one with my face?
What if I found the courage to look beyond the mirror and ask another what is wrong.
We all have troubles and I am no exception.
No, I Haven't began to ignore or embrace them.
Sunlight has told me to accept them!

There is life beyond orthopedic shoes and nearly two decade old misfortunes.
Higher Power did not support lying on the ground whilst fighting what you could not change or rearrange.
I do not see acid as a creative outlet.
Rebelling against what, exactly?
I wouldn't say you have it made.
I am not at liberty to say I know all.
I know when I'm ready to report I've worked overtime on a hollowed rhyme.
Put it all aside and kiss the one whom you know is right.
