A plea, buried in the heaviness of night
whispered softly, upon well tuned ears
Need was spoken from the lips
of a requited soul,
longing for awakening
Pleasures slumbering in the wake of salty
seas, filled by the years
Unsailed by the hands of Gods,
tainted by the lies of man
Hungry, mind and spirit submerged in the
waters that they breed, and bleed
In the light of the coming dawn the beauty
of the shore could be seen
A plea, eased by the warmth of the morns
filtered crimson hues
Need was spoken, kissed by the lips
of sweet rapture, yearning for their own
redemption to be spoken
Answered in midst of soulful convergence,
bodies emerged from the darkened depths
basked in the humble resonance of sprits,
lingering quietly,
momentarily...
Alive
