I picture you,
with her.
The contrast of her skin on your sheets,
and the starkness of your skin on hers.
I watch the migration
of hands.
Smooth and unbiased
when you touch her.
She sighs,
stealing every breath I have
ever inhaled.
I become miniscule,
reduced to the dust you blew away
from her photograph.
I do not know her, only her name.
But I envy her.

I have never known those hands.
