The hardest prayer I’ve had to pray was the day I pray the Lord take you and free you from this pain.

To be selfless when all I wanted was more time.

Knowing more time created suffering and I had to prepare to say goodbye.

My protector, my creator, my rock and foundation.

I cried as I kneeled and prayed for the Lord to take you.

It was the hardest prayer I’ve ever prayed.

The Lord heard my prayer, the next morning he took you.

You suffer no longer and I move forward with the teachings you left me.

The hardest prayer I’ve had to pray.

To take someone I love so dearly and will miss everyday.
