The poem is about generation gap. Through this poem, I have tried to show how today's generation is being apart from their parents and grandparents. They just have no time to say a few loving words to their adults.

Tears roll down the cheek;

But no signs to see him in a week,

Blood's bleeding from the heart;

yet no satisfaction to fill my dearth.

Hidden pains never see the dawn

And none see the tears of heart less 'stone'.

Being very close to him,

Much distance has crept within us.

I weep, he weeps;

But tears have somewhere lost in the drops of ocean.

None to share the mourn

Of relations and soul.

Heart says to get close again:

But distance fears to have all regained,

Steps want to meet him;

But a single step becomes distance of miles.

Love is a lot for him

Which doesn't get explained from the lips of heart.

Naught hatred for him;

Yet gets explained from the sounds of hurt.

I weep, he weeps;

But tears have somewhere lost in the drops of ocean.

None to share the mourn

Of relations and soul...
