The smell hits
Burning flesh
Stale Blood
Singed hair
Filling souls with despair
Smoke pouring from rustic
Rusted, half broken
Half living
War machines
No grace
As they tear the ground
Fierce as they pace
Towards war
Towards battle
Towards slaying
Humans like cattle
Roars
Growling
Claws grinding
As horrors approach
Monsters
Myths
Legends and
Nightmares
Names given
To those that survived
Half dead and
Stricken
Women and children
Killed on their knees
Warriors and heroes
Slashed
Battered
Bruised
Besieged
Left for dead
Left to bleed
The commander of terror
A god of war
Unstoppable
With armour
Impenetrable
Weapons perfected
For killing
Born to breath the fires
Of war
No mercy
No rapport
They only leave
When all is gone
And ashes remain
With no more souls
To entertain
