Stalker: Where the pain hurts the most
She followed him to school one day and followed him home the next.
A day after that she crept inside his house. And watched him as he slept
He was her daily ritual. Every day of his life it carried on.
She never looked at him though she saw him all the time
When he learned to drive she hid behind his seat, and listened to him breathe.
At his college she camped under his desk listening to his heart. Beat.
When he got married she hid behind the pope and laughed at the bride
His wife had children. She tortured them to sleep
He was a lawyer; she ripped up every pound note she could find
She killed his parents and his siblings. She did not care
She drove his wife into madness. And killed her sanity
One morning she struck him right through his heart: where the pain hurts the most
