The unfolding of true wisdom...to a few.

Life and death…games of inhales and exhales

Blood beating in vigor…then slows to drops

Falling from closed taps, yet forcing few frail

Remnants of will…to leak…as ends cast lots.

Age sets like it never ever began

Then…eyes close and memories flood...many

Time hypnotized, then revealed the game plan

Eyes opened at birth…then near death’s ally.

The sound of depression roars like thunder

Thinking about ends before end’s demise

Way of the fool or a wise man’s wonder?

…Vanity spins on its axis…souls comply.

The chaos of knowing birthed in those few

…Closing eyes billions see with…they see true.

Wow! Simply amazing. The first stanza is great, "Blood beating in vigor…then slows to drops." I guess the great thing about this one is that everyone will take away something different. I took away the inescapable brevity of human life. Well done.
