A second part to 'The delicate veil', but it could also be considered a separate piece. If you have time to read both, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

She finds herself in a wood.

It is quiet here.

Dappled sunlight reaches through the trees,

Warming her skin,cold and bare.

There is a glow deep within the wood,

Ethereal and new, drawing her near.

Leaves adorn the ground at her feet,

Others drift slowly to the floor.

Following the glow, her burden lightens,

Then she reaches it's source,

The most magnificent oak,

Centuries old, yet brimming with life,

It offers warmth and comfort,

It gives her understanding.

The leaves that fall softly around her,

They are disappointment and pain,

They are dying.

New leaves are growing,

Bringing promise and hope,

Releasing her burden.

Soriah,

You've been doing your spiritual homework.

Of course the subject of your poems is destined to suffer another life (or lifes) for we can't just jump through the veil. We must eventually trancend it.

Great Poems! They do pair well together.
