This is a little piece I knocked off in a fairly brief time. I like playing with words and being able to come up with something that has a bit of me in it. I hope you get something from it too.

BARKING

Ageless game without a winner

Born to die and judged a sinner

And early on from just a lad

Acts as if he’s barking mad.

What care I of fates decrees?

Scurvy dog that’s full of fleas

Tangled mess of chaos hair

Baby teeth and old grey mare.

Tread the grapes and pluck the thistle

Chew the fat of bloody gristle

Pardon me if it seems I’m leaning

But it seems that life’s devoid of meaning.
