You have been there for us

So we thought

We trusted you

We looked up to you

But you lied, you pretended

We were naïve and believed in love

Believed in colourful flowers and their hypnotising smell

No, nothing is beautiful anymore

You betrayed us, your own flesh and blood

You pushed us away all the way to the kerb

We’ve given you and you kept taking

You did the unthinkable and tried to destroy us

Not one but two generations of your own

Not your own anymore

How could you, we never thought it would come to this

Yet you have plotted this from the day one

Teaching your children to do the same

To be just like you and it makes you proud

Filling their ears with garbage, all lies you made up

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, they say

Partly true partly a lie

You are making sure it happens

We used to think that same blood runs through our veins

But No, we know the truth now

We are nothing like you

You are the scum of this filthy place

You are the dirt under my shoes

I have washed you away down the drain long ago

Where you belong

You couldn’t break us no matter how hard you tried

You did all you possibly could and you are still trying

You can keep on playing your dirty tricks

Till you are dead and you rot in the morgue

You will never succeed
