Where are you all?

It may sound nostalgic,

but I´m a child of the eighties.

Lou Reed, Tom Waits, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Johnny Rotten, etc.

I know they are all still alive,

but where are their successors,

the new ones.

Where are they?

Culture became so laim that now people like Jeff Koons,

Lady Gaga, Heidi Klum, and all the other dough-clods,

are praised and looked up to.

Years ago I´ve felt that spirit got sick.

Now I have to realize the spirit is dead.

So where are you?

Where are those van Goghs, Michelangelos, Einsteins,

Bukowskis, the previous Mickey Rourkes?

Where are those ones who could be able to rise good art from death?

Do they already have us that badly by the balls?

Or is there still hope,

still space for some quality,

a room for the real deal?

I don´t know.

Do You?

I´m still trying.

What do you do?
