Flamingo Park

This weird leaf just fell into my lap
red-brown, twisted
visible veins
I'm sitting under this big tree
he'll give me shade 24/7
he's alive and beautiful
but the part he got rid of
is dead and beautiful
I say good bye and throw it away

I can see two types of butterflies
here at Flamingo Park
yellow and the orange camouflaged ones
will I feel them in my stomach again?
I wish I would
and I wish I would very soon
I wonder where they sleep
and I wonder
who the fuck wakes them up
