I´m sitting in front of this ice-cream-parlour

right on Lincoln road.

It has been raining all day.

They let people just sit there,

even without a purchase.

It is thursday 3:15pm.

My sister got me a ticket back to Germany

for monday 6:30 pm.

I still hope that I´ll get the Keys

before that monday.

People are walking by not minding getting wet.

They have a room somewhere and

dry clothes to change.

My sister told me that in Germany there is snow right now

and also proposed me to work with her on the cruiseship she got hired on.

Free food, no rent & seeing the world.

But I just want to see her,

my other half,

my soulmate,

my Keys,

no matter where,

no matter how.

This sense of sadness overcomes me

cause it seems that I´m giving up.

But surrender and giving up are two different things.

I´m not a bum.

I just had to live like one,

to have empathy for the homeless.

Hey, that´s me,

homeless,

since 1969.
