The taste of cigarrettes still lingers in my mouth, as does the taste of you.
Got ahead and fuck her all you want, I just hope you think of me when you do.
I hope that every cheap, meaningless kiss eats you up inside.
And every worthless and empty word that you speak makes a small peice inside of you die.
I hope the guilt eats away at your mind and I hope you have trouble sleeping at night.
I hope that when she's lying in your arms, that emptiness creeps up behind.
That emptiness you're trying so hard to fill.
That emptiness you're trying to fight.
Say the things you need to say to get her to fall for you.
Pull the blinds over her eyes and make her believe it's true.
Make er have faith and make her have hope
Make her believe you'll do the things that you wont.
Tell her you want her, tell her she's beautiful
Make her believe you're not being deceitful.
Touch her and make her want you more,
Do all the things you do behing closed doors.
But don't hold her hand and don't touch her face.
Don't hold her too long in your embrace.
Don't tell her you need her and that you really care.
Don't tell her that you'll always be there.
Don't tell her that you want to be with her,
Don't tell her all those lies.
The same lies that you told me,
Right before you said your goodbyes.
